`Grand Cru` our Sabre 36 is a very popular boat for families looking for a great sailing vessel, crafted with fierce pride in South Casco Bay, Maine. Sabre Yachts are known for building a well crafted vessel with functional design, and this Sabre 36 is no exception. She sails well and is equipped with a roller furling genoa and has an uncluttered foredeck for your enjoyment. Down below she offers a large v-berth forward with sleeping accommodations for two with a door. The enclosed head is forward to port and has a shower. Moving aft, the main salon has a two traditional settees running fore and aft, one on each side. Her table is bulkhead mounted, and is easily stowed when not in use. Three people can sleep in the main salon, as the port settee converts to a double berth and the starboard is a single settee. Aft of the main salon settees, there is a U-shaped galley to port, and there is a nav. station and a large quarterberth to starboard, which can sleep one-two. She has several hatches and many opening ports, which make for great ventilation. On deck, she offers ample side decks for her size with easy access to the bow. Handrails on the coach roof assist you in going forward if the weather is not cooperating. In the aft, she offers a large cockpit with a transom mounted swim ladder and a large bimini. `Grand Cru` is equipped with a keel-centerboard design, and is equally happy sailing with her centerboard up or down (all ballast is fixed in the keel).
