Today, above deck still retains the Challenge 67 lines with some functional improvements. Below she is now unrecognizable as a Challenge Yacht. The interior had a full retrofit and update in 2009 and 2015 with new systems throughout. With 3 spacious en-suite cabins, sleeping 6 guests + crew, she is now designed in a more traditional style with master cabin aft, two guest cabins forward of an expansive saloon and crew cabin fwd. All beautifully finished in bird’s eye maple and teak sole. In 2015 her electronics package was updated to the latest available touch screen and wind pilot systems.
The exterior has been greatly improved whilst retaining some of the Challenge Yachts heritage and line. A larger carbon fibre mast and spars with a NorthSails sail wardrobe improves her already excellent sailing ability in all conditions. The cockpit and fore-deck has been simplified and is now covered by teak. For greater convenience she also has a hydraulic bathing platform which provides a beach and improved access to and from the tender. The tender itself is an AB RIB with aluminium hull and large tubes, powered by a 15hp outboard. Perfect for extended tender excursions, beach raids or cave exploration.
