When you think of yacht charters in the United States, it’s natural to think of the two coasts. But there are thousands of miles of coastline between Canada and the United States along the shores of the five Great Lakes, from Duluth, Minnesota, on Lake Superior, to the Thousand Islands at the eastern end of Lake Ontario at the entrance of the St. Lawrence Seaway. The lakes are interconnected, at gradually reduced elevations as you work your way east. Along the way, one of the prime cruising grounds for yacht charters can be found in the North Channel and Georgian Bay on the Canadian side of Lake Huron.
