After a short period of racing in regattas, Matchless was completely transformed into a beautiful cruising sailing yacht by the genius of John Munford.

As a member of the renowned New York Yacht Club (NYYC), Matchless can pride herself in having had famous guests from NY high society and the political world aboard, such as several members of the Roosevelt and Kennedy family.

Completely refit during 2004-2006, Matchless combines high sailing performance with classic and comfortable interiors and exteriors for luxurious cruising: the teak deck, sails, rigging, furnishings, entertainment systems, communication equipment and appliances are brand new (2006) and a deckhouse will offer good shelter in any weather condition. There is also a large deck area for staying in the sun The large saloon offers high-tech entertainment with a wide variety of music and film choices, a comfortable sofa and a dining table that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people in formal dining. Matchless has 4 guest cabins, each of which has a private bathroom and shower, latex mattress and air conditioning.

You will appreciate the Mediterranean cuisine, genuine and sweet smelling, based on fresh and precious primary products, for healthy and tasty cooking skilfully coupled with fine wines and making use of local produce.

Atop deck there are two separate cockpits, one for the crew from which to navigate and one for the guests for outside dining and a comfortable area to sit in the shade.
