One Week – Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora
Day 1

  • 12:00 Apoiiti base, Uturoa provisioning and check out
  • Depart Marina Apoiiti and head for TauTau Island on the west side of Tahaa to anchor, kayak and snorkel.

Day 2

  • Tahaa to Bora Bora
  • Exit Papai pass, make the crossing and anchor behind Topua motu, snorkel, kayak and look for Hiro’s bells – musical rocks.

Day 3

  • Transit to Bora Bora’s back side
  • Anchor in front of Four Seasons or Le Meridien and call for evening dinner and dance schedule.

Day 4

  • Bora Bora’s back side at leisure
  • Snorkel Lagoonarium, walk along the beach, look for manta rays.

Day 5

  • Bora Bora back side to front side
  • Make transit to front side, re-provision at the village of Vaitape. Visit Bora Bora Yacht Club (if re-opened) for drinks and later have dinner at Bloody Mary.

Day 6

  • Bora Bora to Tahaa
  • Transit upwind from Bora Bora to Tahaa. Catch a mooring in Hurepiti Bay and visit Boutique Sofie for colorful, handmade pareos. Schedule next day’s land tour.

Day 7

  • Tahaa
  • Rise and shine for 8:00 am land tour and vanilla plantation visit with Vanilla Tours, then circumnavigate Tahaa counterclockwise to Ceran motu for afternoon snorkeling and kayaking.

Day 8

  • Tahaa to Base
  • Visit Champon pearl farm near Taravana Yacht Club in early morning and return to Apoiiti marina.

Sunset at le Meridien

Two Weeks – Raiatea, Huahine, Tahha, Bora Bora, Maupiti

Day 1

  • 12:00 Apoiiti base, Uturoa provisioning, and check out
  • Depart Marina Apoiiti to Hurepiti Bay, catch a mooring, visit Sofie Boutique and make arrangements for next day’s tour.

Day 2

  • Land tour and Tahaa
  • Get up early for land excursion with Vanilla Tours, then circumnavigate Tahaa to Ceran motu and snorkeling and kayaking.

Day 3

  • Tahaa to Huahine
  • Exit Toahotu pass and make crossing to Huahine. Anchor outside of Fare, visit the fruit stands and get more ice or fruit.

Day 4

  • Huahine Land Tour and Avea beach.
  • Check out the marae, fish traps and blue-eye eels of Huahine by land. Then head to the beach by boat.

Day 5

  • Huahine to Raiatea
  • Make transit to Raiatea via Irihu pass and visit Onoa bay and TapuTapuatea marae.

Day 6

  • Raiatea and Tahaa
  • Plan for an early morning trek up the river in Faaroa bay, then head carefully past the Grand Banc Central (reef between Raiatea and Tahaa) to TauTua island on the west side of Tahaa for coral garden snorkeling and a spectacular view of the sun setting behind Bora Bora.

Day 7

  • Tahaa to Bora Bora
  • Exit Papai pass and make the crossing to Bora Bora’s Teavanui pass. Anchor behind Topua motu to snorkel and look for Hiro’s bells.

Day 8

  • Transit to Bora Bora’s back side
  • Re-provision at Vaitape – look for mahi mahi mousse at Chin Lee’s market. Head to the back side, anchor and ask about a dinner and dance reservations at one of the hotels.

Day 9

  • Bora Bora back side
  • Swim, kayak, beachcomb, snorkel the Lagoonarium and make a wonderful dinner aboard.

Day 10

  • Transit to Bora Bora’s front side
  • Take a leisurely trip back around Bora Bora and catch a mooring in front of Bloody Mary, hike up to the radio tower for an aerial view of the southern reef, and then enjoy dinner with the sand on your toes at Bloody Mary.

Day 11

  • Bora Bora to Maupiti
  • Make the downwind transit to Maupiti. Snorkel, swim and enjoy a less crowded version of Bora Bora.

Day 12

  • Maupiti
  • Ideal day at leisure in a South Pacific paradise.

Day 13

  • Maupiti to Bora Bora
  • Make upwind transit to Bora Bora and rest at the Bora Bora Yacht Club, assuming its restaurant and bar are open again.

Day 14

  • Bora Bora to Tahaa
  • Make early morning transit back to Tahaa and catch a mooring at the Taravana Yacht Club. Enjoy dinner and a visit to Champon black pearl farm.

Day 15

  • Tahaa to Raiatea
  • Return your vessel to Apoiiti marina.
